Hazardous Waste Emergencies

Call 9-1-1 from campus phones for chemical spills and hazardous waste emergencies. From cell phones, or as an emergency backup number, call 530-752-1230.

Be prepared to provide:
• A description of the problem
• Location of the emergency
• Name and telephone/pager number of the caller.

Persons reporting emergencies should stay in a safe area nearby to provide further information and should attempt to make contact with the emergency responders when they arrive.
